Counting the pre-production and production, it took five months to get Paper Walls finished, from October 15th 2006 until March 22th 2007.

The voice that reads the letter on "Dear Bobbie" was recorded by Ryan Key's grandfather. The song is dedicated to the 58-year-old love relationship between him and his grandmother.
